#23L & #73L Brimstones are in!!!

Posted on May 17, 2008 by Greg

Just got the 73 and 23 Linerlocks in Brimstone in and they look great.  I was lucky enough to get serial numbers 2 thru 7 in both knives so anyone interested in a matched set, I’ve
got em!  They’ll be available individually and I’m not pushing them as a set, but you don’t always see them come thru in sets like this.

Color is nice and consistent on the knives I looked at and they’ve got a great ‘gnarly’ feel to them!!

Anyone using a Great Eastern with Stainless Blade(s)???

Posted on May 16, 2008 by Greg

A few weeks back I had someone ask me if I had an opinion regarding the 440 steel Great Eastern was using in their “Great Eastern” knives.  Sorry I can’t remember who asked me, but
I’d replied that I planned on trying one out in the near future and…alas, I haven’t had a chance to really put one to the test.

Anyone out there used a “Great Eastern” and have any comments regarding the blade?  I’ll admit to being a great fan of the high carbons and have stuck with the
Tidioute’s and Northfield’s so far.  There’s some great stainless out there …

A couple of things need to be said….

Posted on May 16, 2008 by Greg

I just got a really nice email from a customer today.  He wasn’t happy with a knife he purchased a few weeks ago.  We worked through it and I think both of us were
satisfied with the result.  What made me really happy about the note was that it was spontaneous and I believe heartfelt.  Many thanks.

A while back I said I’d post the story of TSA Knives and someday I will, but for now, I just want to share few personal things.

Years ago, in another life….I spent about 10 years with IBM.  Started in the mail room, went to the manufacturing floor, …

The Genuine Stags are IN!!!

Posted on May 14, 2008 by Greg

Do I feel lucky!!! Here’s the deal….

As I mentioned previously, the availability of Genuine Stag has tightened up.  Great Eastern just finished running the first #23L’s in Genuine Stag and ran a total of just
16 knives.  They ran just 23 of the 735108L’s and a Grand Total of just 5 (actually 6 as they
always keep Serial #01) 735108’s without the lock in Genuine Stag.

The prices are up slightly, the quantities are down and we’ve got all three in stock!

Genuine Stag and Brimstone Linerlocks on the way!!

Posted on May 13, 2008 by Greg

We should have the first of the Genuine Stags within the next couple of days.

Also, I just got confirmation that the #23L & #73L Tidioute Brimstones will leave the plant tomorrow and should hit our doorstep on Monday.  I know there’s a couple of you that have been asking
when we might see them and I’m really pleased they were high on the production list.  NOW, if they’ll just do the same for us with the new #54 when it comes out.

73 and 23 Linerlock Observations

Posted on May 13, 2008 by Greg

I’ve been wanting to sit down and make a few comments about the new Linerlocks, but I’ve been too busy selling them!!!  It’s a tough job, but somebody’s gotta do it, right???I dropped a 73L in Burnt Stag in my pocket a few weeks back and have thoroughly checked out the #23L’s since they came out. …
