We’re busting out this weekend for the Fergus Falls, MN Gun and Knife show this weekend. Everyone’s been cooped up for so long its about time. The temperature has been below zero for 9 days and this weekend it’s supposed to be above zero!!!! Time to get out and clear the cobwebs! This is the first show I’ve been to in over a year and it should be interesting.
I’ll be setting up four tables and will be bringing in some odds and ends I’ve accumulated over the past year. Should be something to get you to pull your wallet out!
It’ll be interesting to get a feel for the temperament of the shooters as well. We saw the first of the serious gun proposals referred to the House Committee 1/04/21 as HR127. I knew things were coming but I was surprised when I saw the extent of the bill. Whether or not you own or are interested in owning a gun, bills like this should be a warning signal to everyone to pay attention to our legislators. Do yourself favor and look up the bill and read it. My understanding is we can expect another proposal from the WH which could be presented in the form of an Executive Action.
We’re seeing ammunition and firearm shortages like we’ve never experienced before. Yesterday a friend in New Jersey reported prices of $100 a box for a box of 9mm target ammunition. None of the manufacturers or distributors have any promise of the situation being resolved until well into next year. You never know, but a regional show like this one could be the place to find some bargains!
