Unfortunately, I didn’t make it to the gunshow in Moorhead over the weekend due to a weather event. We ended up getting a foot of new snow and decided I’d stay close to home. My apologies to any of you that showed up and missed us. The next show on the schedule for me will be Fergus Falls in February and hopefully, the weather will cooperate. With any luck Erin and Pat will be able to make it to that one as well.
Erin and Pat are up and running at TSA Knives and it appears that things are going well. I talked to Erin this afternoon and I’ll leak a little info to any of you Spyderco fans. It sounds like she has ordered a few of the new limited run Spyderco Manix 2’s with the M390 blades in brown G10. The M390 is an incredible steel and I think I may have to have one myself.
The opening of the Trestle Pine knives store has been delayed a bit due to ….well, for a better explanation, inattention, lack of focus and unforeseen obstacles. My wife is helping take care of the first two issues by trying to get things organized in a more logical manner. Things got a bit fast and loose with TSA Knives and I promised it wouldn’t happen again. The main problem was a technical glitch that took a while to straighten out. Whoever said computers would simplify our lives obviously never used one.
So right now, I have a pile of product sitting on the floor and counter. Lots of neat stuff that I hoped to have in the new store by now. Kind of like Christmas I guess. We’ll just let the anticipation build!!!
