I’ve had a number of calls and emails from folks having problems logging into the new storefront. While I’m trying to get this resolved, here’s a quick solution.
This is what appears to be happening. If your getting an error message or a security warning, most likely your computer is using a stored link to the website. When the new store was created the old data base was still in existence. The stored link in your computer was/is trying to connect to the old data base resulting in the error message. I’ve found this is an effective method of dealing with error messages on other websites following updates or changes.
First, you can go to the upper right corner of your browser screen, click on the three horizontal bar icon and select “New Private Browser”. This opens a new browser screen that doesn’t store your ‘history’. Type in the tsaknives.com or tsakblog.com address and you should go to either site no problem In most cases it’s seems that once you do that things will start to function properly again.
The second option is to clear the history on your computer which will take out the old stored links. This also seems to eliminate the issue.
Hope this helps, if not, drop me an email.
