Let’s start at the begining. Sometime late May 31, I had a major computer meltdown. I had posted a large number of new knives and sold around 20 knives that Saturday nite. Fortunately, I spent a long evening getting the orders processed and ready to ship out on Monday. When I checked for emails Sunday morning, I had a black screen. Not sure if it was a graphics card or a motherboard, but it let me down bigtime. To make a long story short, I spent the next couple of days hobbling along with an old Dell trying to restore files, recover emails, etc, etc. It was a nightmare but I made it through. What was really irritating was the HP I was using was just about 15 months old, i.e., 3 months out of warranty. Got a a new Dell delivered 4 days ago and am still working on setting it up.
About the same time, I caught a nasty cold and have felt lousy up until the last day or so. In the meantime, new knives have come in, more are on the way and by this weekend, things SHOULD be back to normal (whatever that is). I’ve received new Burnt Stags, Genuine Stags and Banana Yellow’s are on the way!! That’s right….Banana Yellows.
Haven’t forgotten the drawing. It will happen this weekend. I want to make sure everyone’s in the drawing that should be.
I also want to write down some notes about a Great Eastern I’ve been using. Wanted to see what the Stainless blades are like and now I know. Will try to share my observations very soon.
Appreciate everyone’s patience and will try to make up for lost time!
