I received this pretty Green Tea #23 012 from Greg on Friday and it joined us on a road trip over the weekend. But……it didn’t see much action. This thing is positively scary to open and close, unless I’m stone cold sober (rarely). This backspring is super strong. It is resting now as shown well lubed with the blade half/half open to try to relax the spring. Actually it has a split neoprene hose protector on the blade now because I’m afraid of the blade unexpectedly snapping closed and removing a finger. This is another really great GE knife, but typically a real nail buster and really deserves extra attention on opening and closing. Any suggestions to tame this thing would be welcomed.
Cheers,
Jaxon
