Sometime back I had asked and was asked if anyone had used or had an opinion of the Great Eastern Stainless Blades. Didn’t get any feedback so I pulled a 53 Muskrat Great Eastern with Burnt Stag handles out of inventory and have been using it for getting close to a month now. A couple…
Saturday or Monday, we should have some more of the 735108 Genuine Stags. These are the nonliners. There will also be a few of the new 541208’s in Frontier Bone. Next
week, there will be more 23 Linerlock Genuine Stags and some Frontier Bone Linerlocks.
I’m still waiting on more (…more?? any!!….) details on the new 25 Barlow. As yet, no one seems to have ‘seen’ one yet. If they’re trying to build
suspense…..it’s working. The only very minor detail I’ve picked up on, is that the first ones may not be Genuine Stag and they’re still pushing for the …
Starting today, I’m going to display the TSA Knives, LLC inventory on the website and see how it works. Check it out and let me know what you think. It’s accessible from the ‘front page’ of the store at TSA Knives, LLC. I’ve just added a button at the top of the page entitled: “Current…
How in the world did I overlook posting these on the blog??????
I got in some of the #54 Un-X-LD Genuine Stags with both blades on one end. These are a super nice knife with some beautifully matched stag handles. They’ve got the long nail pull and
what I’ll call a long swedge. VERY smooth opening knives with a good solid half stop.
Just received the 54’s in all three variations with the Yellow Banana Smooth Bone handles. I’m satisfied! I was really afraid these were going to be a bright lemon
yellow, but no, they’re banana yellow! They look great. With the order were some of the 542208’s with Frontier Bone which are one of my favorites. Nice, traditional
I”m in the process of ‘fleshing’ this out, but in a nutshell here’s the deal for the next knife giveaway.
A suggestion was recently made to me that if someone came up with a ‘new’ idea for a handle material for the GEC’s………it MIGHT just see production. I know it’s
pretty hard to imagine there are any options left that Great Eastern hasn’t already done, but, it’s worth a shot.
I know one idea I’ve had is running a 23 or a 73 Linerlock in Blaze Orange G-10 or Micarta. Last fall I sold a pile of Bark Rivers with the Blaze Orange …
Just got confirmation today that the new #25 should be on the way by the end of the month!!! I know I’m really anxious to see this one as I’ve wanted a smaller ‘pocket friendly’
GEC for quite some time. A #23 just doesn’t work in your suit pocket.
At this point, it appears the first one’s are going to be genuine stag with a multitude of offerings to follow close behind. I’m hoping that I’ll have the full production schedule the first of
A couple of items I do know are on the way very shortly are:
- 735108 Genuine Stags …
Drum roll please………
I tried to figure out a way to kind of ‘apologize’ for being so neglectful of the blog the last few weeks and particularly to make up for being so tardy in holding the second knife giveaway. So
what I’ve decided is that the winner is being given the choice of EITHER a Tidioute Moose in Carved Burnt Stag Bone, Serial #2
OR a Tidioute Harness Jack Spear/Punch in Chocolate Bone, Serial #4. Now note, I said EITHER not BOTH.
Tough choice as they’re both pretty nice looking knives.
Let’s start at the begining. Sometime late May 31, I had a major computer meltdown. I had posted a large number of new knives and sold around 20 knives that Saturday
nite. Fortunately, I spent a long evening getting the orders processed and ready to ship out on Monday. When I checked for emails Sunday morning, I had a black screen.
Not sure if it was a graphics card or a motherboard, but it let me down bigtime. To make a long story short, I spent the next couple of days hobbling along with an old Dell trying to
restore files, recover emails, …
