I came across a rare factory test Northfield this morning. It is a #331211 Conductor Factory Test Production Run with Blood Wood handles. Only three of these were built in 2011. This is the kind of knife that is reminiscent of the early days of Great Eastern when we used to see these truly ‘rare’ knives. What’s really amazing is I had set it back for a customer many years ago and he never claimed it!
There was also a really nice 99 Wall Street with American Elk in another box. While it doesn’t measure up to the Conductor, it’s a great looking knife. The Elk handles are always popular and not a handle material we regularly see. combined with the 440C Wharncliffe, you have a really nice EDC knife.
I’m getting to the bottom of the good stuff, but you never know what could turn up.
