Just a couple of brief updates to share this morning. First is a nice photo and a thank you from Mark S in the Netherlands. Mark was the winner of the 2019 Ice Out Contest and shared a photo of the official christening of his prize. Thanks for the great photo!
Every now and then I get calls or emails asking about shipping costs. If you click on the “Shipping” tag under any of our products, you will see the cost for domestic and overseas shipments for that specific item. If you’re overseas ordering multiple items, I calculate the actual shipping cost and refund any overcharge. Most dealers have a $99 minimum for free US shipping. All of our items have the domestic shipping cost included in the listed price.
Finally, an update and comment on the special orders reminder I posted. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of special orders I received late last week and over the weekend. The orders covered a broad spectrum from gun cleaning kits to Limited Edition Buck Knives. There are many items I carry to the Gun Shows that don’t show up in the store. If it’s related to hunting or camping, give me a try. Just a few product names I frequently special order include, Benchmade, Buck, Fallkniven, Leupold, Spyderco, Maxpedition, Pelican and on and on.
Last week I added a 45 Roughneck, a few 97 Stags and some Pemberton’s in Smooth White Bone to the store. I had an email asking why I didn’t post a notice on the blog telling folks. Normally I try to but, for whatever reason, I didn’t this time. My suggestion is to subscribe to the RSS feed in the store under the “Recently Added” category. That will generate an email for you listing all of the additions in that category.
And fianlly, an update on the #12 GEC Toothpick. I’m not 100% sure where GEC is at on production of the Northfield’s. There were a number of SFO’s added to this run and I’m guessing they’re finishing them up soon. I couldn’t help but notice there are quite a few of the Toothpicks still available through numerous sources. The fact the Camel Bone didn’t sell out is a surprise. It makes me think that GEC may be catching up to the demand with their longer runs. Time will tell!
