I’ve been waiting on a several new cutlery arrivals and they finally came in!
The first was an order of the Artisan knives. For the folks wanting a high quality EDC flipper style knife without paying a premium price, these are a bargain.
You get a razor sharp D2 blade, G10 handle and ceramic ball bearing pivots starting in the upper $40 range. If you want, you can move up to Carbon Fiber handles, S35VN blades and still keep the price in a comfortable area. I have yet to have a customer complain about the price or quality. The Artisan’s are just a great value.
The second new cutlery arrival I was glad to get were more of the Hess Knives. I had placed an order in December and finally received a few. The storefront was down to just a couple of knives left in stock. Evidently Hess has been swamped with orders and a death in the family put them behind. At this point, they’re just starting to catch up.
The Hess knives are another premium knife at a bargain price. The burl wood they use is just gorgeous as you can see in the above photo. It’s not surprising how many repeat customers come back for both the Hess and Artisan lines. I’ve put in another order for more of the Hess’ and hope to keep them in stock.
